Illinois In the Spring of the year, magic lilies would send up a mass of green leaves similar to amaryllis. These leaves would dry up and then, later in the summer, masses of pink lilies would adorn each bare stem. The bulbs multiplied year after year until they were one solid mass of blossoms.

Vegetables Chrysanthemums and vegetables in Illinois grew abundantly. Brocolli and cauliflower grown in John's vegetable garden in Illinois.

Florida the amaryllis is doing very well in our Florida garden. this camellia is loaded with blossoms every winter. We are trying to reproduce the plant by air layering.

Island the beginning of an island in our front yard in Florida. Originally, it was going to contain mostly cactus plants. after a couple of years, it looked this this, and is getting to look more like a jungle every year.

Flower Bed We have a brass bed frame in our front island to accentuate the blooming azaleas. We recently added a blue bowling ball for added emphasis.
