We enjoyed many bus trips with our travel group in Ocala. The bus would come to our RV parking lot a couple of doors away from our home. We have two daughters, Valerie and Vicky, two sons-in-law, Larry and Tom, and three grandchildren, Lucas, Isabella, and Amie. |
Dad and Mother at their 25th wedding anniversary in 1952 in northern Illinois. Dad died in 1960 when he was only 55 years old, before he had a chance to retire. He played baseball in his younger years, and was always an avid outdoorsman and fisherman. He taught us how to fish and enjoy all of nature. Mother was very sociable and active until she died in 1986, just before age 82. |
John's Mother and Father Ma and Pa in 1954 in northern Illinois. Ma was born in 1884 and died in 1971. Pa was born in 1884 and died in 1972, after saddened by Ma's death. They were very proud of the family they raised with integrity and hard work. We appreciate all they have done for us. |

Tom is a veterinarian and also creates beautiful objects with exotic woods. Together they raise and show champion Rhodesian Ridgeback dogs. |
